Appetizers and Starters
Roz's Wings- Baked Not Fried
10 1bs. Party Wings (fresh if possible , not frozen)
Creole/Cajun Seasoning
Black pepper
1 tsp.Cayenne pepper ( less or more to your taste)
1 tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Onion powder
2 tsp. Paprika
1 cup Hot Sauce( Texas Pete, Frank's Hot Sauce)
1 tsp. Butter( melted)
Cooking spray
Shallow baking pans/cookie sheets
* You can deep fry the wings after seasoning if preferable
Pre heat oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Season wings with dry seasonings above, leave overnight in refridgerator or let seasonings merry about 2 hours.
Drain wings, spray baking sheets with cooking spray. Place wings on sheets, and spray them with cooking spray.
Bake the wings for 45-mins to 1 hour or until no pink color in excess liquid, drain excess liquid off cooking pan as it accumalates.
Remove wing from oven, and prepare melted butter and hot sauce to toss and coat wing in a large bowl.
And your done.
Tips- for extra zest and flavor add a sprinkle of the seasonings above plus a pinch of Italian packaged dressing to your hot sauce.
Drain excess liquid frequently to keep crispiness and place wings on a rack while on baking sheet pan.
Garnish with your favorite dipping sauces- Ranch dressing, Blue Cheese Dressing or try mine.
Roz's Hot Dipping Sauce-
1 cup hot sauce
1 tsp. melted butter(not margarine)
pinch of Thyme
1 tsp. of each- onion powder, garlic powder, Creole seasoning, cayenne pepper and Paprika
Microwave on medium power 30 seconds.
Hot! Hot! Hot as you wanna be!
